Disneyland

While L was deployed I made a decision that we would take a family trip to Disneyland. Disneyland is a rite of passage for Californians, and I knew that this may be the only time in the next few years that we would be able to take LJ. L agreed that we would go, and some of our family decided that they would join us.

In order to get LJ prepared for our trip we started watching YouTube videos of the Disney parades. We also watched few Disney movies so he would be familiar with the characters. Most nights he would ask when we put him to bed whether we were going to Disneyland, he was so excited to see Buzz Lightyear and Woody.

We ended up going to Disneyland with LJ's madrinha (Godmother) Karen, Joey, Tio Isidro, Tia Heather, Brenan, Brady, Gary, and Meridian. We had so much fun. LJ loved it. His favorites were the Pirates of the Caribbean and the Pixar Parade. I almost started crying watching how excited he was at the parade. We had a wonderful time with all our family, thank you Karen and Joey for making our trip so much fun!
