Well we had a surprise visitor this Easter. L came home from his work trip earlier than we had expected. While working abroad he injured himself and completely ruptured the tendon in his bicep. It needed immediate surgery, which was performed and he was sent home. While I know he feels he has let down his co-workers, I have to say it is good to have him home.
For the holiday we went to our friends, the Hamilton's, and enjoyed the day with them. We had a beautiful dinner of homemade spaghetti and meatballs (not your traditional Easter dinner, but it was DeLish!). The kids hunted for eggs and came home with a ton of loot. It really was a nice day.
