What is new with LJ

Our son is a crazy little guy, definitely Mr. Personality. He is a yapper and loves to question things...even if it means being a bit defiant.
His favorite things to right now include:

• Singing- ABC's, Wheels on the Bus, The A says Ah, Itsy Bitsy Spider, and Happy Birthday
• Reading- He loves his bedtime books, he can usually sucker me into 3 or more. His favorites include: Where the Wild Things Are, Mercer Mayer Little Critter books, Olivia and the Missing Toy, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Seek and Find books. He listens to the story and chimes in with the parts he knows, I love that. He also wants to know what everything is on every page. Sometimes he won't let us turn the page unless he is certain he knows the names of all the objects on the page.
• Playing- Right now he LOVES his Toy Story figures. Buzz and Woody join us on most any trip we take. He plays with the characters, he sometimes makes them fight and then puts them in time out. Then he will make them say sorry. Hmmmm, wonder where he gets that from?
• Puzzles-He enjoys working on puzzles with mom or dad before bed, the enjoyment and satisfaction he gets from completing a puzzle makes me so happy. On the flip side, I often see little glimpses of me when he is playing or working on something. He gets extremely frustrated when he does not get something right away, hopefully I can teach him patience.
• Playing Outside- He can pedal his tricycle, so he is all over the place. He also loves to play with the soccer ball and enjoys helping Daddy with yard work. He is a boy's boy, there is no doubt about it.
